My understanding was always that LeGM vetoed the Hield trade because AD and him wanted Westbrook

The Jazz are very bad at tanking, unless Gobert and Mitchell were secretly holding them back this whole time.
Markannen decided he was a 24-9-4 player it was the world that was holding him back
also catching bodies
the absolute disrespect from Nurkic with total disinterest in contesting a wide open mid-ranger with the game on the line
Some more Westbrook bad
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2022/1...s-lakers-tradeThrough three games this season, opponents are contesting jump shots by Westbrook only 41.2 percent of the time. According to Second Spectrum, that’s by far the lowest contest rate in NBA tracking data history, which dates back to 2013-14
Incredible, he's that bad despite nobody even trying to contest his shots lol
Is Westbrick still top 75 of all time?
MJ shot 18.9% from three with the wizards one year
is He STill ToP 75 AlL tImE?
a bum
but also ya Russ has played 1000 games and 100 playoff games aging poorly doesn't change his legacy
League pass is a fucking train wreck this year. I asked for a refund to my subscription and to email me when they fix condensed games.
Westbrook is only 33 years old, he never played "winning basketball" and his style has only become more out of fashion as the league evolves and leaves him behind
He's the greatest stat padding low efficiency player ever, you could make 20 all-time starting 5s without wanting him on any of them
top 75 is kind of a dumb arbitrary argument, but he won a lot of games for not playing winning basketball, and if OKC has even a little bit better injury luck they win a ring and we don't have this discussion
in the years Russ and KD played together they went
WCF
Finals
Injury
WCF (injury)
Injury
WCF
also you simply haven't watched him play very often if you think he's a ballhog. inefficient chucker, absolutely, but an eager and willing passer. his assists to shot attempts is a lot more pass oriented than guys like Bron and Harden who are praised for distributing, more pass-heavy than star points like Steph and Dame.
Yeah I agree, if you can't win a ring in 8 seasons playing with the greatest scoring forward of all time you aren't top-75.
