Yeah she's actually probably gonna die fairly soon, terrible diagnosis.

I'm not the kind to specifically wish these things would happen to the people on the right, but it does terribly suck that these things *seem* to happen way more to Democrats than any other.
Some of it may be a bit of an athlete's effect. Look at Mitch, who's probably slow-dying but not wanting to look weak, as an example of why. Putting these things out there can be considered a vulnerability so if you're wanting to be at the top of your game feeling vulnerable isn't going to help.
Admitting you have an incurable illness is hard, and really puts the spotlight on you. I would think liberal folks, who thrive on sympathy and struggle with messages, are the most likely to admit vulnerability whereas conservatives, who thrive on fear or power as strength, would be less likely to admit these things and more likely to slowly decline before bowing out.
Like Pelosi and Feinstein!
Well, they are conservative Democrats.
I don't think Feinstein is even capable of admitting anything anymore. She's literally being Weekend at Bernie'd by her aides and family to keep that senate paycheck/insurance money coming in.
And apparently losing her means no more judicial picks?? Not sure how all that works
Gotta love our political system.
