A bit random but I had to replace my phone due to it being 6 years old and the battery was severely weak; I removed my SE token and tried to re-add. I didn't know we can use other apps besides SE's app.

So I applied via it my Authy (Twilio) app! Now I have my token on my phone, tablet and a very old iphone!

Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator is also supported, as well as other common apps I guess. Not sure if anyone was aware.

edit: someone told me that this was always possible but i remembered a while back when I tried I didn't recall seeing this as an option. besides my main phone none of my other devices leave the home but it also means if i left my main phone in another room (or lost it outside of home) i can still play ffxiv as i can get the code from Authy! :D

Yeah, I also think all the other options weren't available back when I first got the software token, but they were there when I was switching to a new phone a couple of months ago

This is where you load up 6 boxes of lime green roes as trial accounts and transfer them wherever and line the benches with them. Name them weird shit and just let them sit there, Square doesn't ban by IP so your main will never be in any danger of being slapped. There is a limit of 4 accounts you can make in a day tho without a VPN.
