Take the damn shot US!
well shit
US should hire me as coach for the next World Cup.
well it was fun while it lasted
We need steel at the back and a finisher up top. Talented but not a finished product.
Still a decent showing overall by the US.
did we win
Every favorite has won in the Round of 16 so far, as the cream has really risen to the top here this tournament.
Netherlands-Argentina, Croatia-Brazil, England-France, and possibly Spain-Portugal make a pretty incredible quarterfinal round. The bracket came together in a really lopsided manner in 2018, but not this time, with fans to be treated to some of the best matchups possible.
Brazil and France look like the teams to beat in Qatar, and they may well comprise the final. I was down on France at the start due to all their injuries but they don't seem to mind - what a squad the Frenchmen have. Meanwhile Brazil put together the best 45min of football seen so far while Korea were chasing shadows. I watched it on Telemundo while at work, and goodness does it highlight how abysmal Fox's coverage and commentary have been and will be throughout this World Cup.
Morocco beats Spain, now this IS a surprise.
Portugal 2 - 0 Switzerland, Ronaldo benched.
If anyone is watching, spicy time as Croatia equalised Brazil 1-1 2nd half of extra time so now penalties are highly likely unless 1 of the teams turns it around with like 5 mins to go
oh nooo Brasil..
why were they so high up the pitch in the 2nd half of extra time? that's gonna hurt for a long time to not see that one out. it's like they were still in shock during the penalties
it's extra time for both quarterfinals today after a late equalizer for the Dutch following a truly incredible free kick - the execution of the run-up, the whole stadium expecting him to shoot and it's a deftly weighted throughball
“The Moroccan dream! Vivint and radiant!”
Lmao I love the commentating
Is a red card a free substitution or is it hockey rules?
Nvm. Commentating just said they have to continue with 10.
Morocco!!!
