Unrelated but I’ve been enjoying when I notice XIV voice actors in XVI. So far I’ve noticed the VAs for Lyse, Estinien, Urianger, Y’shtola and maybe more. I don’t wanna look at the XVI IMDB just yet to confirm to avoid spoilers.

EW relics are the laziest relics ever holy shit. On one hand, they are garbage stat/ilvl wise compared to equivalent weapons, so it's no big loss that they are easy to get. On the other hand, shit is so effortless and mindless that you can finish all of them in a month so you have nothing to do.

the weapons have always been behind current content. That is nothing new. Next patch they'll go to 660 and then 665 in a final step. Always 15 ilvl jumps, at least I have a new weapon to take into TOP.

Since 2.0, anyway, because a subset of raiders whined and bitched so hard that they had every relic after Coil 1 and 2 summarily executed.

I'm actually baffled why they didn't tie relics to Variant/Criterion. Seems the obvious choice with no main Bozja/Eureka type instance. And no real reason to do them otherwise.

Is the graphic update really taking up so much resources that they couldn't even throw something together with Fates/Dungeons like ARR? Then again the ARR grind was awful and I'd have been glad to been spared it but having tomestones the whole way is just really weird.
