It’s a weird combo of people trolling and some people wanting to stream snipe

MOUNTAIN ZU MOUNT LMAO
Pictomancer having an RGB combo is very fitting
Looks like the mount is 600 points. Regular bottles of Dew give 100 points, the special exclusive flavors give 200 points. So if you can find one near you it’s 3 bottles of Dew at most.
My local Wawa has a BOGO going on so I'm able to scam the points that way. Other than that, my little cousins drown in that shit so just gonna piggyback off of them for free points.
Already got my mountain zu code. Can't redeem it til early access
God damnit another fucking RDM finisher lol
Changing the AoE combo to 50 from 60 is a very very welcome change.
And holy fuck, so easy to get a slam dunk on giving the people what they want with Summoner and instead they give us... Solar Bahamut?
I don't give a shit that the job is totally braindead to play. I actually love it for that reason when I'm doing dailies grinding. But come on, how hard would it have been to put in Shiva, Levi and Ramuh for a swap with the other 3 elementals? And go with Odin or Alex or anything else instead of fucking Solar Bahamut
Yeah, another Bahamut is seriously such a lousy choice
That does make sense. The coding of this game's origins have been a plague throughout its run
There is no way they are chained to old code. They can make new code. They just don't want to do it.
Yeah, with SMN basically being "nukes, but with pet animations" there's zero reason to believe old code is an issue. Unfortunately, you're going to get clashes over what pet jobs are or should be against what's balanced or isn't and it's been a long term MMO nightmare in general.
I love that this game is still plagued by the lazy and deceptive sins of Sage Sundi and Tanaka: forever banished to Mobile Hell for lying to fucking face of the company president about the status of 1.0.'s development.
The technical debt must be immense, but the game makes too much profit to even think about starting development on another MMO, especially with the hilarious losses this year.
Frankly won't be surprised if 17 or 18 turns out to be an MMO. Much was we'd like to insist it wouldn't make sense, they did it to 11 with 14. Assuming lessons learned and tech advances since, there's zero excuse why it couldn't be better than 14, either. Problem is to what degree they'd differentiate it, if at all. I'm tired of twitchy "do the dance" MMOs where it's pretty much raid or GTFO for meaningful endgame. The obsession with balance also puts a pretty big damper on job identity. I can't say them basically making up jobs when there's still a big pool to work with is a good sign, either.
Then again, I'm basically 0/2 on getting an actual magic swordsman class from SE, so...
I'm ready to see what a dev team that fully understands all of the lessons of the past, with an excellent Director at the helm can do when given time and full resources to make magic happen with a MMO. I can wait for that game. I've had my fun with XIV. The limitations of the hardware and the technical debt have run their course with me.
Fantastic decade of gaming, but I'm onto the next phase.
Info on the Field Operations zone dropped. It’s the “Shades Triangle”, a group of mysterious islands where many enter seeking adventure and few ever return.
So basically we get the Bermuda Triangle.
The final live letter before DT launch takes place on Friday, June 14th at 7am EST
Expect the launch trailer and full Viper/Picto gameplay. The media tour embargo should be over by then as well so there will be plenty of XIV influencers posting their stuff around this time as well.
The updated benchmark is out too btw
