Yes when I started lurking and chatting in the gacha channel at the beginning of lock down back in 2020 we'd talk gacha games and PC parts for a while.

I was aware of the condition but assumed he had gotten better after he was discharged from hospital after an operation. I never talked or asked about it though unless he decided to mention or talk about it!

All this is saddening to hear.

This just reminded me we definitely played Epic Seven together a lot. We were in the BG Guild together for a bit, I don't think he played anymore but we talked about other mobile games too in the guild Discord.

I just found this. The Nintendo Switch thread got bumped and Proth was the last post on there, hadn't seen a post in awhile from him then noticed this on the homepage. Really sad. I can't say I have any stories with him, I think we once had a disagreement about Geo or Blu or something on FFXIAH, but he was always present and helpful everywhere I saw him.
