Tatum is ded but real interesting Celts are giving up so much of the championship core to retool around Jayson/Brown and maybe White just one year removed.
Apparently they are trying to trade into the lottery to draft Kasparas Jakucionis.
teams trying to poach White and Brown too, Celtics reportedly hearing offers but waiting for something to pop. gets late early out there, couldn't imagine Boston blowing it up after they got that ring with one of the better starting 5's i'd seen in the modern era.
Pingus and Jrue were likely gone this off-season even if they managed to win it again, the repeater tax bill would just be too much.
I think they'd be crazy to trade Jaylen, but if they can get something good for White (who will be 32 when Tatum is back) and went into the season with Pritchard and Anfernee Simons as the starting guards it's not the end of the world for this bridge season.

I doubt Simons is in the Celtics long term plans. To say he's a negative on defense is being generous and that just doesn't really fly with how the Celtics have constructed their roster with Brad Stevens in charge.
Men make plans, and Achilles laughs

Suns traded the No. 29 pick and a 2029 first for Charlotte's Mark Williams, the same one that the Lakers sent back for a failed physical. What happens if he fails a physical for the Suns? Would they hypothetically just get whoever the Hornets drafted at 29?
Mark Williams is p good and only 23 but that injury history is awful. guess we're swinging for it with him and Khaman Maluach
Ace Bailey looking visibly upset after being drafted by the Jazz was pretty funny. He really thought he could force himself onto the team of his choice and now he's banished to Utah.
Utah is actually a really good place for him if his primary concern is to just get as many buckets as possible. Except for the fact that it's you know... Utah.
