It is genius really. Why spend a lot of money building prison camps here when you can just send US citizens to other countries camps?

No glee here, especially not for what will happen to the Palestinians who will be affected by this.

But disdain for the protest voter/non voters who helped enable this by making an idiotic choice? Absolutely.

Do you have disdain for the Biden voters who enabled the bankrolling of the genocide?

Don't think even if you factor in the "Not voting cuz Palestine" we wouldn't still be here with this. Dude won popular vote and I think that was more due to putting up a wet rag against him, most didn't bother to vote because they couldn't be bothered and not because they were protesting anything.

Correct, but it's still worth rubbing their noses in it.

Lots of both sides action, ask daily how about those egg prices, and how'd your "protest vote" work out for you.

When people voted for Biden the choices were:
-Stick with an admin denying an ongoing global pandemic
-Let someone sane in who could let people safely leave their houses again

Likewise in 2024, if you were pro Gaza the choices were:
-Vote for the VP of the guy who did unfortunately bankroll Israel, the same way America always does. Even still he tried for a ceasefire
-Vote for the guy who said he will flatten Gaza and build resorts there

The choices were pretty clear. If it had been someone else on the republican side who vowed to end the American complicity, I'd maybe get it. But no, it was the guy who said he would let Israel finish the job.

So get the fuck out of here with your dumbass rhetorical.

I mean it's honestly pretty telling on the Dem party that people would rather stay home or protest vote in the face of a fucking facist then vote for them lol....clearly they're not getting out to the average person and showing them why they should be backing the left. Their messaging sucks ass and they lost to Trump for a 2nd time. In the interim between Trump's they didn't seem to do shit to address some of glaring issues he brought to light in his first term. Faced with Biden being way too fucking old and half of them knowing that way before the debate, they still did nothing because "decorum". Faced with Feinstein not knowing what her own name was or where she was, they kept her on major committees because "she deserved it". Even after losing the fucking election instead of at least tossing a bone to the more leftist side and realizing their mistakes they doubled down on everything.

Sorry but "vote for us because the other guy is a fascist" only rings true when you have good messaging behind it and they didn't. Biden was literally doing the same border policy shit as Trump, because yet again and again the Dems think they can win over some of the right if they play "centrist". I'm glad they sent fucking Bill Clinton though out on the campaign trial!

I'm not pissed at all for people who didn't vote or even protest voted (because counting all of the protest votes for Harris still doesn't get a win). I'm pissed at the Dems for failing again and again. Not sure you could throw this hard if you actually tried.

The choices were pretty clear. If it had been someone else on the republican side who vowed to end the American complicity, I'd maybe get it. But no, it was the guy who said he would let Israel finish the job.
I mean Kamala was basically just gonna continue what Biden was doing, which was literally just watching the Genocide happen and going "hmm...." so while yeah, Trump is far far worse she could have literally said ANYTHING to the opposite to maybe give some hope to people but nope! That would have alienated the voters who didn't vote for her anyways and backed Trump!

We also went from an administration that was trying to boost the economy by eliminating a fuckton of student debt.

Now we're going towards privatizing education, demolishing the Dept of Education, and ensuring Gen Alpha and Beta grow up uneducated and vulnerable to manipulation (which is already happening with uneducated Gen Z)

If that's "the shit" you need sparing, you are who I posted that for.

Don't pretend to care for the Palestinians now that Trump is the one allowing Israeli atrocities.

Look I voted for Biden too, and spent months working to get Kamala elected.

But I don't turn a blind eye to the atrocities he abetted. The abject slaughter and displacement was monstrous, and he could and should have made another choice - but for being a Zionist piece of shit. I'm not going to begrudge a tiny minority of Americans who care way more about this than I do their voting decisions. They're completely justified in their fury and disgust.

Turns out you need to EARN the vote from people and not just be owed it like Dems have been counting on for years now. If they don't pivot hard to the left and embrace the working class again they're cooked and this is life in the US from now on. We'll get a milk toast Dem after this probably that's basically a republican from 1995-2008ish and then we'll get a super nazi afterwards

The world has known for decades that the only way to stop the endless killing is by moving one faction or both completely out of the area. If Trump manages to move the Palestinians to Muslim countries and secure a way for them to pilgrimage to their holy sites, then good on him. It's not an elegant solution, but it really feels like we're so far past what's fair and equitable that there just needs to be a solution that prioritizes human lives above everything else.

Ah yes because clearly the solution for global pain and suffering is to induce more pain and suffering.

They had a responsibility to do less harm. They failed, and now it appears the actual genocide will begin under Trump.

What? Lmao you're delulu if you think they're coming back.

Idk if Kamala could have won if people weren't whining about the Israel situation, but if you actually cared about Palestinians there was only 1 clear option here and if you didn't vote blue then you did the wrong thing.

I mean the actual genocide, displacement, etc. was going strong under Biden. Trump will just evict them to build beachfront property while Biden was letting Israel evict them as part of some kind of 4D international chess game that collapses down to 1D checkers if you spend more than 10s thinking about it.

Palestinians are worse off than they would have been under a democratic administration probably, but they would be in a shit place either way. That said, American citizens don't live in Palestine so if you didn't vote for president of the US out of some bankshot hope that the more benevolent option would win anyway and would feel chastised by your lack of support for them then you dumb

Idk man, I feel confident more Palestinians would have survived under Copala versus Trump. Way too many people saying there would be no distinction, but I don't agree.
