And iirc Washington sent a bunch of weird press releases afterwards trying to frame him as unprofessional for turning them down.
and that washington team already had some good pieces on offense and the ability to draft the qb of your choice, and the choice they made anyway ended up being pretty good so far. you aren’t going to get much better of an opportunity for a first job
I’ll have the playoff thread up today, bored at work
I wanna say it was something like a private plane from the commies was on the way to pick him up for an interview, and in the middle of it he announced he was staying with the lions lol.
They were openly pissed about it lmao
I agree. Ben Johnson is unprofessional. Who would want that clown as a head coach????
Also, the Lions schedule next year is nuts. The non-division road schedule - Washington, Philly, Cincinnati, Baltimore, KC, LAR.
nfc east has the worst schedule next year. both divisions that put 3 teams in the playoffs (afc west, nfc north)
the eagles 17th game? at buffalo
Bengals fan been waiting on this news to drop. He wasn't with the team in their final game and was evicted from his home:

Miami really needs to banish this dude to Cleveland

They need to move on from Tua (and ownership), but he sells jerseys and tickets I guess. He's a great personality, but he just isn't the guy to take this team through an entire regular season and Superbowl victory.

the fact that he's been in the league 5 years and has only finished a full season once is all you really need to know
as they say the best ability is availability
