Main Hand: Juggernaut works well
Sub: Maneater/Joy-toy/Ridill are all acceptable combos. Kclub isnt as good because of the TP it gives.
Ammo: Bomb Core
Body:Kirin's Osode
Hands: WAR AF2 is great for TP...also look at Dusk gloves for haste setup and AF1 gloves/gigas bracelets for WS
Legs:Dusk Leggings are ok...try the Kitty pants if Byakko drops
Head:Genbu Kabuto (Steel Cyclone/tanking ONRY),Optical Hat/Unicorn Cap/Patroclus's Helm for haste/str (its free), Panzer Mask is ok, Adaman celeta is good too
Neckeacock Charm good for TP...spike for WS
Feet:Thick Mufflers - sell now. AF1 or Unicorn for haste
Back:Amnent Mantle+1 - good
Waist:Life Belt for TP - Warwolf for WS
Rings: Sniper Ring X2 good for TP - +str rings for WS
Earrings: Superxxxx(Dual-Wield),Assault Earring both good for TP - try also Minuet earring for WS


those are just what I've found to be effective. it really depends on your setup and role in each fight. War's versatility makes it as godly as we are.

There is no one set of best gear for WAR, and I'm not talking about just situational use either.

My WAR has at least 2-3 pieces of equipment for each of my main slots. The most basic gear you'd want to cover is for TP and WS. Then tanking if you have the room and desire. Then more gear for other situational uses if WAR is your only job and you love muling.

A lot of the equipment you mentioned is great, and most of it is better than mine. But some of it shouldn't be used the way you're using it. Osode = WS onry. Even a plain old hauby is better for TP than osode. Adaman/armada hands are only +10 attack versus +12 attack of WAR AF2 hands, but has +acc on it too. However, if doing Steel Cyclone or Calamity, those AF2 hands are great. Sniper rings are good, but for WS, a pair of flame or even just ruby rings would help a lot. I won't comment on everything, but there's a lot of gear that could be used in TP or WS or tanking, but not all together.

I was lucky WAR was my first job, and I was able to get some of my equip before the prices went out of control, otherwise I'd never have some of the equip I do. This was during a time when I used to spend all day mining and never saw any gilsellers to compete with. Rune weapons were also worth something, too. Rune blade was 1 mil, arcane flowerpot was 300k, Rune chopper was 500k... during a time when juggernaut was 3 mil, and haubergeon and vermy were 2-2.5 mil, and scorp harness wasn't much higher. Though my HNMLS at the time didn't love WARs, and I had little luck in things like osode/haidate.

My somewhat subpar (for the items that didn't inflate to hell and back since I bought them) gear for reference:

mainhand: woodville's/byakko's/fortitude axe
offhand: juggernaut/tatami shield
head: optical hat/genbu's kabuto/adaman celata/AF2 (warcry)
body: hauberk/scorp harness/AF1
hands: adaman mufflers/AF2
legs: AF2 (drafty!)
feet: adaman sollerets
earrings: suppanomimi, brutal
rings: ruby x2 (got Tamas from CoP, and I'm not spending 6 mil each for +1 STR.. and yes, I use ruby even in TP building because I'm gimp like that)
neck: royal guard's collar
ranged: combat caster's boomerang +1
ammo: virtue stones (when applicable)
waist: warwolf belt (yes, I use this during TP too even though I could at least wear a lifebelt)
back: amemet +1

If only they'd increase safe or storage space I could fix some of that.

I don't even know if I would want the relic great axe even if Doc Brown let me drive the Delorean back to 2004. 2 axes w/ ninja sub still would probably be better on everything within 15 levels of you with the way 2H weapons are broke in xp pts/low-end HNMs.

The ridill is the true relic weapon for warrior.
