Fafnir

Alright I have a question about Fafnir and spike flail....

Basically we got Fafnir to about 10% and we about to win....

Everybody or MOST was at the wings and all of a sudden he used Spike Flail. Like all of us died after it.

If I don't recall, I saw 1-2 PPL at the side or back of Fafnir. that must have gotten hate somehow ( it wasn't likely he could have gotten hate)....

anyways....can anybody tell me more about Spike Flail?

Spike flail... it's not a tp move, and triggered when someone who got hate is in fafnir's range, but fafnir can't hit you with its head.

so this mean... even if you are on its side, you still can get spike flail. the safest place to stand is not on its side, rather, 45 degree in front of its front leg, and pld right on its paw, since this will makes you an easy target for fafnir, and you can't get hit by straight breath (if you stand in front of its mouth when it do breath... i dont think anyone can survive it)

LOL on cockroach. Good info though. Im sure alot of people who fight fafnir for the first time can learn from this.

Hmmm....

Its not only if he can't hit you with his head.... its if he can't hit you with his leg or head. I should know.... I made him spike-flail once.

Last night i stood directly in front of his head and took 1600 dmg breath attack . So does this mean i can use BQ ring and stand on his foot and take maybe 300dmg breath or should i just leave the BQ ring at home?

"breath range" should be "death range"

If Fafnir does spike Flail....does it mean it's over?

Does he automatically turn around and end them all?

I'm still not so sure about it.

Or spike flail only kills everybody at the side and back?

our positioning was pretty solid like those shown in the diagram...

but all i remember there was 1-2 monks at the side and back of Fafnir...

then we all just died where the diagram shows where we should be....

the only way you can survive spike flail is if hellboy is in your alliance, because he dodges it, and then casts a spell and kills fafnir
