it likes to blow up after 50%, once someone does a strong WS

it has roughly 8k hp, might be even 10k

duo'd it a couple times with this taru thf, SA DE -> SA DE for roughly 1400 each WS would only take off about 20% hp

i wanted to test out minjin on tonberries so i twice killed the hogotojitsu NM with ONLY dot, giving it 0 TP whatsoever (i was 0/25 on it, i care), it would blow up as soon as it hit 9% each time.

Dropped on 32nd kill i think, bastard.

Yes but I didn't use it because of that, poison/choke/burn/shock only. Still blew up :/

idk.. i would just sleep > Nuke on Sarberry and it never blew up .. and it had TP tried to throat stab once.. but just ran out of range lol

Just to add, I soloed at THF75 really easilly, with bolts etc. I'm sure I got lucky~ish on the mijin (only hit me for about 500) but besides that it was a really easy solo. Even popped back in the middle of the room (doesn't do this anymore) after its mijin but I got it to come back without linking

Well I never really took sarberry seriously (as mentioned above, I've never had any trouble with him at all), until once he popped and I had a WHM friend with me. Personally, I've never had 2hr even break stoneskin, but he does it with her near and she just drops at 100% HP, something like 1300 damage (to a WHM with more MDB traits than I have).

I fight the Hototogisu NM a lot because he doesn't want to drop his fucking katana. At ~55%, if I'm solo I do asuran->icarus->DK and he pretty much straight up dies. Not sure if the Hocho NM is stronger or what, but I can see a samurai doing hobaku->2hr->ws ws ws and flat out killing him from 60-70%

For the record, Hocho NM is much much stronger than Hotogisu(sp) NM. The latter is like a strong "Too Weak" whereas the former is like fighting almost a DC.

His Mijin is really not THAT bad, with barfira it's downright weak.

The thing about it is it's a Tonberry.

Throat Stab > Mijin = Toast

Sure Mijin would do like 200-400 dmg, but when you only got 52 life...

I always got mijined for like 3/4 my HP
It can be difficult to solo since it's nin and spams ranged attack and ninjutsu, killing your shadows
