Jilted woman deletes ex's online RPG data

Japanese police have been investigating a woman in her thirties who reportedly trashed her ex-boyfriend's Lineage save, including deleting all the in-game weapons that he had painstakingly collected.

Although no real money was actually taken, the police got involved after it emerged that the woman had illegally used her ex's username and password to access the account. The woman told police that she deleted the data as revenge for breaking up with her, report GameSpot.

The couple first met through the game in the Autumn of 2005, but the relationship was short-lived, say the investigators.
