    Bleh. I don't like this one. It's not like they got rid of raise3, nobody just wants to do the BCNMs for them anymore. Just like why nobody does Torque BCNMs anymore since you can dig up/harvest elemental ores now, causing Torque prices to rise.

    Maybe banish will be somewhat useful now?

    Can't think of anything new for whm... Resist Death? No idea what Sam would get.

    how about giving us BRDs some Shield Skill, those bastards.

    New Job Trait for SAM, Resist Invites - randomly turns down party invites, is noticeably more effective than other existing Resist Traits.

    I love you SE, well not quite, but you are on my good side. I can't really remember any updates in the past that specifically helped whm, besides the dia II cost going down. Thank you for the raise III thing, I was going to feel bad raise II all those melee out there. I wonder how much the MP cost will be on this new banish spell, and if it will be worth using in exp party now.

    what i'd like to see for WHM either in the new JA or meripo:
    -critical heal (like a % chance of a double heal)
    -hate ignore ability (like hit it, 10 min or 30 min cooldown or something, and for 30 sec take no hate whatsoever)
    -paralyna, poisona, viruna or w/e status cures AE, ERASE ae omg :3
    -a 99% raise
    -ability to cast protectra on another group

    thats just off the top of my head, gotta go now

    Those would all be really awesome.. I really like the critical heal idea. Maybe someday

    I swear I will explode if Red Mages don't get any new useful traits or abilities.
    Wait, they won't give Red Mages anything useful because they want us to "Convert" and become Bards.

    Please, give rdms something new square..I do believe we deserve it.

    Erarse-ga my prayers will be answered. As far as a critical heal that is what divine seal is for, oh wait that = death, so yeah I am all for the hate ignore JA

    Excuse me, don't delude yourself...Bards are more effective than Rdms in most ways.
    They can enfeeble mobs in their own right and vastly enhance a party's abilities, not to mention their job specific songs that makes a ranger go :O
    O and reraise song that can help in a tight spot. O and a song that can increase movement speed. O and Haste for the party. O and INT+MND songs. In many ways..a rdm is completely just outdone by a bard. Only a pld would fully appreciate an rdm due to refresh, but in most relative terms brd overshadows us ; ;

    i dun like crit heals... balancing hate can be a science, and when ur on the edge, a random double cure would pwn u in the face.


    new JA's you can only get with merits? damn i wish you didnt lose merits when you remove them from categories... (stupid enhancing magic)

    Blazer is correct. Square painted RDM into a corner by making the job party support instead of the "jack of all trades" bullshit line that we were fed when we started the game.

    I have seen WARs, NINs, and THFs solo serket though. A lot of people can solo serket with a NIN sub or main...

    WHM should get AOE raise III or something... or better yet, a raise that costs no MP and no time to cast.
