Dynamis Beaucidine - always shitty af drops?

My LS has done this area twice, we've won both times...got all but one time extension...but have only received one AF drop from this area total. And it was beastmaster.

Yet another LS on our server did this area once, they died several times...did not win...did not get time extensions...but got 4 AF drops.

What gives?

Yes, it has an awful drop rate. We have had many BST AF only runs there.

The moon has a huge effect on AF drops. Go on a full or new moon, you will see a big difference.

our best run in beaucidine was maybe 7 AF drops. there were a couple runs when we only got BST AF and we dont even have any main job BSTs. average drop rate may be 2 to 3 drops.

Our last 2 Dynamis were Sandy and Windurst, both on full moon and from Sandy we got RDM, RNG, and DRG... from Windy we got WHM and 2 NIN (both lotted by people with 2nd jobs)

Our last Bastok was about 15 AF2 and 2x100 Byne bill.
Nothing special about moon and day.. just.. 4 THF?

Got pretty much every AF2 drop except.. omg-can-you-believe-it BST, RDM and DRK.. oh and PLD.

All kinds of relic weapons dropped about 2-3 times as well.

I bet there was a good drop rate all because I went there as RDM/NIN
Explenation is that they never want to experience being owned so much again..
and tried to give all drops so I'd never return there... Umm.. yeah... sorry

Yeah, I dislike Glacier. Only the Hydra mobs are interesting anymore, and the drop rate for AF2 is bad.

Last Xarcabard run, we got RDM, RNG, WAR, and DRK though, all from the Demon NMs.

From my only 2 Beaucedine runs we've gotten, 2WHM, 1MNK, 2BRD, 1WAR, 1BLM, 1THF, 1RNG, and 1SAM. Also, if memory serves me well 3 100's. Going to go threw the cities again for those of whom havn't gotten some of the key items and farming for AF before we attempt Xarcabard.

I think the secret for our good drop rate is our thf's impossible to gauge TH4 but we also do ours roughly when its new/full moon

The sandoria run where we got 18 AFs were
4xwhm 3xpld 3xnin 3xrdm 2xwar mnk drg brd

I got my war af2 boots that day ^^ but we had 3 ninja's wanting AF pants, so they didnt become free lot for me to get those too ; ;

as for beaceadine last run we did dropped 2 nin, rdm, pld, mnk, 1 100
so it was a pretty average run, i think our best was 7af2's, 1 100. 3 of the af2's was smn body

We are trying to do attestations but we still gathering info on how to get them

summoner... red mage... nin... theif... and blm dropped full moon 95-100% most dropped at98% moon on the way up.. nothing dropped on the way down..

We did Jeuno the other week.. in like 30 minutes, we got 5 relic staffs.. weee.. 1 AF the entire run. Beaucedine has been kind to me.. got my socks D:

Most AFs my LS has gotten in glacier is i think 3....
BLM WAR RNG i think thats it.

We can also relate tot he relic staves, we came to a point last jeuno run where no one wanted the staves and had them auto sorted...

Also, in Bastok, we got like 7 - 9 Itos in one run, and like 18 AFs
we almost cleared all of bastok. we were just missing the mog house repops, and the south gustasberg zone.
