The merit points thing may be good. The ENM battles might be cool. NPC storage for AF should be great. (Unless of course it glitches and deletes it all. Not like that would ever happen.)

The shield thing sounds idiotic. The new items for Guild points will probably suck. Who gives a crap about barges for Carpenter's Landing since they never seem to run.

This update seems like a mixed bag.

Actually the shield thing may make it easier, since blocks from shields are very rare it seems ever... the reducation of damage across everything might be better

But it did severely hamper everyone else who subs NIN, so it sucks for the rest of us.
