What in game res do you use to record? What Fraps settings do you use? And lastly, what encoding program / options do you use?

I'm having trouble finding a nice balance and your video quality are what I'm looking for.

i recommend running fraps on a diff hard drive and having it record into that so the hdd your ffxi is running off from does not get lagged out.

I'm using dual Raptors in Raid 0, lag isn't really a problem, the videos come out fine. The problem is compression and what in game resolution works best. I usually play in 2048, which obviously isn't feasable for videos, so I'm trying to find what combinations of compression and in game resolution work best.
