Most haste+ possible:

Panzer Mask +1 - Haste+3%
Dusk Gloves +1 - Haste+4%
Sonic Belt +1 - Haste+7% (I have never ever seen anyone with this tho, normal sonic belt/speed belt is +6%)
Byakko's Haidate - Haste+5%
Fuma Kyahan/Fuma Sune-ate - Haste+3%

Total - Haste+22%

Dusk gloves+1 4% haste
Dusk feet+1 3% haste
Speed belt 6% haste
Byakko's haidate 5% haste
Panzer mask+1 3% haste

21% haste total about 10 seconds off utsusemi ni timer.

As for best haste setup for tanking it all depends on your style of tanking. If you like evasion then all you would use is probably the haidate and speed belt. If you like defense then you would use the dusk gloves,fuma/dusk+1,speed belt,and haidate. There really is no best haste setup since theres so much gear that ninja has access to that makes going all haste tough to do =\.

I thought I had read that HQ sonic belt gave haste+7% But hey, I guess the 1 more def makes it worth it anyway

i luv evasion

you might like evasion but its useless if you're going to tank hnms as nin (fafnir etc etc) When i did fafnir on my nin, I was only able to dodge maybe 1 or 2 attacks the entire fight (about 15-20min of straight tanking ni after itchi and so on) it's best to do HP/Haste and parry with a mix of enmity.

i dont know i do pretty well with all my evasion gear. But speed belt is not worth it. Well what Evasion set up u used Zig? let me know to see if its the same as mines? and did u tank with Wind staff?

o yeah and i got way to much evasion :/. makes up for the lack on haste ^^.

well my Evasion day/nite

Base evasion at 75 cap 269.

This is with staff set up.
Day:
74 with Food 84

Nite:
94 with food 104
Nite tanking HNMs include Af pants and Fenrir Stone Set up.For most evasion.

Food Jack o lanters.

If u have a bard evasion will go up to about(Im not sure if im rigth im no bard here but Ill ask borisan later.)
Day:
98 > Food 108 and up

Nite:
118 > Food 128 and up

and thats with Melody Earings + 1 Set up with a Bard. if bard 2 hours u migth not Need to use Blink at all.

Well ill Still perfer Evasion over haste.
and this also Depends On Mob. So dont get me wrong L8r.

I dunno most shit where all the evasion in the world won't help you haste is awesome for...you can pack on the evasion but one or two more dodges won't really help you in the long run, and for lower level stuff where evasion helps theres enough plus evasion from other peices of gear where having haste gear still owns, haidate and fuma for example. At least for me haste is more benficial by far, I can still evade with other evasion gear and merit points, plus you get all the bonuses from haste as well.

i do go tthe Fuma Sune-ate thats the only haste i got.Rest is evasion and Enmity. But with that set up U only Cut off haste recast for about 5-6 Seconds. 2-3 dodges Cover that.^^ o eah u have to count parrying in as well.

Maybe if you're lucky, take up that argument with Byakko's triple attack.
