Dear BG and Friends. (topic: movies)

    Original post

What is the most disturbing movie you've seen and why?

Me and my old roomate would go to the video store, and to the "Cult" section and grab whatever one we haven't seen. Some of those movies are seriously fucked up.

    Mine is Gummo.

    Screenshot
    Disturbing Highlights:
~One guy pimps out his downs inficted sister only to watch.
    ~Huffing spray bottles through socks.
~Shooting cats for the asian food market.
~The hole movie is 90minutes of putrid disturbingness, worth checking out, if you're in to that.

    Other movies making my list:
    ~Kids
    ~Pi
    ~Requiem for a Dream
~(I know theres more I gotta think of them)

I saw a movie so disturbing once that I don't even want to talk about it.

I don't know the name of it...but it was something on Bravo one day.

It had these 2 teenage British lesbians who were secretly in love, but there parents said they were too close, and wanted to separate the girls.

The girls then had this sick story they lived their lives by or something, something mythical, involving this stone one of the girls had. Abiding by the story, they walked out into one of those hedge-maze gardens, in this formation:

Lesbo Teen 1 - Mom - Lesbo Teen 2 (walking left across the screen)

The first girl drops this stone (its a sparkling gem) and points out how beautiful it is, and how lucky they are to 'find' it. The mom bends down, and girl 2 whips out a stocking-wrapped-brick and starts swinging it at the mom's head. Then the first girl starts helping the second, and they beat the mom to death, and you get these freakish scenes of the mom crying out for help with blood covering her face.

In the end, we get this great stuff, about how its a true story.

napoleon dynamite was pretty ok though a knock off of rushmore. i fail to see what was so disturbing about it. requiem for a dream was pretty crazy though, especially if you've had friends OD or w/e. aftermath, though pretty predictable, still stands near the top of my list. battle royale was good. takeshi kaneshiro is good. cure and the piano teacher rather creepy too. bully made me scared of florida.
