    Btw, lets turn this into a specs thread post what you use just for the hell of it computers are the best ^^

    Yeah it's a dell but I also did some benchmark testing, It's comparable with a midline alien ware, the 5500 series Area-51 with pentium so anyways, anyone with anything valid to say please post some feedback =P

    Why do I even bother -.-

    I don't know.

    If you were that interested in knowing how you could run FFXI on that PC, you could wait to get it and run the damn Benchmark on it.

    Cool zig, I can't wait to see them,

    Geno: man why do you have to hate? So far every post from you has been rude man, back off, Just asking some harmless questions. Please man.

    But to repley to your "mistakes"
    I only had a 1500 credit limit to work with, so I could either upgrade to a dvd burner or I could upgrade my processor to a 3.4 , so, I choose that,

    XP pro is a $79 upgrade, I couldn't afford it...

    Also bought a 5 star surge protector, because if I'm gonna spend 1500 on a computer I can spend the 34 bucks for a surge ^^d

    Heres my computer now:

    1.4 ghz p4, 380 something ram, 64MB Geforce 4 card, with XP home.

    Definatly an upgrade was needed ; ;

    sometimes its cheaper to buy from dell then to build a PC. Especially if you get rebates and stuff.

    The deals for the week were:

    Free 1 Gig DDR2 Ram upgrade,
    34% off the total price
    Free shipping,

    I started thinking about how much it would take to assemble a pc and software, and it made my head hurt ; ;

    If I had ordered the weak before I would have gotten a free flat panel upgrade ; ;

    Very Nice tengar, You putting it together yourself?

  16. #16

    Let's see... those parts can be probably purchased for around ~1200.

    Windows XP not included.

    Would always be nice to know what kind of motherboard Dell uses for that setup too. Motherboard's more important than a lot of people actually realize.
