Steelface/Bloodtear Trio

Can a 67 RDM/BLM 75 THF/NIN and 75 WHM trio Bloodtear with the RDM tanking? Adding hate with TA+Hit behind RDM (I) can add additional hate while THF keeps up with attacks from behind and TA+Evis. for damage.

I was planning on this:
RDM and WHM buff as WHM does something random to get its attention (For SATA) and then from there on just tank it with an Earth Staff.

I was wondering this because I'm usually roaming Highlands for Rams.

What about the RDM soloing without a staff, but sword etc. When I get to the level I could sub DRK for savingmyassStun

Personally, I'd rather have the THF/NIN tank than the RDM. THFs can tank little things like that with Ni, hell almost anything can.

rdm can probably just solo it... even without ut<tab>. well, maybe if the rdm was in the 70s itd be easy

66 THF/NIN 66 RDM/WHM can kill it.

75 pld/nin can solo very very easily.

Rdm/blm level 68 can solo it, thief/nin 75 won't get hit tanking.

These guys really aren't as hard as they're made out to be.. I duo'd both as 60MNK/WAR with a 60RDM/BLM. Took 10 minutes.

Both are very simple, Steelfleece doesn't do anything other then Might Strikes over and over, problem is his accuracy is awful. I tanked him as a 75 DRK, and he could barely hit me, I could only imagine what it would of been like if I had decent evasion, I wore Narishima Vest instead of my Hauberk, not that it makes a dramatic difference. I think Bloodtear does a slightly more annoying move, honestly never fought him, isn't it a MAX HP down move, anyways, I think the RDM could solo both fairly easily. Pld probably doesn't need to even go /NIN

Soloed him as a 75PLD/37WAR using Earth staff and Spirit Taker to maintain MP. Very long fight. XD

THF75/NIN37 can solo this easy.

We killed him using hand-2-hand and naked, no mnk in pt.
Besides, one bard in our ls kills this from time to time solo.

Bard = only job that can solo Simurgh.
