Damn you Square for making the cooking GP item for two days in a row require King Truffles. (Even under normal circumstances, it is a hard item to get.)

What kind of drop rate for the king truffles, and how often does it spawn?

I'm up the shit-creek, unless my friends check the auction house for me. ;_;

King Truffles are also a very rare chocobo digging find in Zitah/Jugner/Carpenter's Landing/Yuhtunga/East Ronfaure.

I'd say it requires level 8 (there are 10 levels) digging or higher to dig these up reliably. At level 9 it takes me about 3-4 days to put together a stack if I really work at it.

My advice is to check the price history on stacks of these and see if you see any repeat sellers, chances are these people are diggers and maybe (provided they're not JP) you can just get them right from the source.

If you need to "farm" them, it's probably best to go south of the ballsack room in Crawler's Nest and farm the Killer Mushrooms. I believe it's about as rare as Royal Jelly off the bees at the entrance (which I've seen drop twice with my own eyes.)

Ellyion is an NM that appears to be on a normal lottery timer, I killed him a couple times while skilling Sword/Dagger of Trials. He's an easy kill as RDM75, just does normal mushroom stuff and Silence Gas at high TP will do like 5-600 as always but he's pretty simple. Took him everytime as RDM75/THF15. I got King Truffle everytime but he's still and NM and BST's like to kill him, it's a good XP spot.

I tried farming Killer Mushrooms once. In an hour I got 2 danceshrooms from them and got slightly discouraged.

O.O good lord lol... I soloed these a ton as an RDM-noob and never saw one, just saw 2 in skillup parties later on.

You were very lucky. The only time I ever see Royal Jelly ws when I was with a Thief with TH2.

The drops on jelly are related to the moons , full moons drops are always nice.

I used to have a high lvl theif buddy party up and sit in the zone near that loop so I could kill bees and whore is TH ^^d

Took like 4 days of that going from 98-100

First Royal Jelly I ever got was when I was fighting those things, first kill got the drop XD

Took me approx 7-10 days, to solo enough Royal Jellys to level to 100 ~ No TH, just pure WHM balls and Hexastrike works wonders >.>
