Need some help~

I know lots of LS out there have done Kirin and are reading this, I've got some pieces of strategy here and there and my own stuff I've devised which usually works out well, I was just wondering if anyone could point me to a posted one somewhere online, or perhaps take some time out of their day to send me an IM or post something on here. Just tips, or any added info and strategies for a Kirin fight.

Part of the fun of fighting Kirin is figuring out your own strats and what works for your LS. I don't enjoy doing what other people tell me to do, I like to find out myself how this work.

I know, but reading through pages there's still not much found that I didn't already have figured out. It's just some stuff I might not be thinking of, I think I've got it all, but ya never know, some things to watch for by veterans might be cool. Hey, I'm not first, might as well take advantage

Get a crapload load of rng's and have a nice shoadowbind order

I'm amazed how many different strategies there are to this. I've watched some videos other LS's do and they are no where remotely close to what mine does. No one really likes to share though because it is really is about finding a strategy that works for your LS.

The jobs that make up your LS will have everything to do with your strategy. I will repeat what the previos poster said though...shadowbind is an amazing thing =)

think about it a lot and try different things to try to develop a straight up tank strategy. marathoning it costs so much for RNG and takes so much longer than some tanking strats, and god its boring. straight tanking kirin is like 1 of the top 10 fun things in the game

Heh, we have a Hume PLD and a Taru NIN with some balls that wouldn't mind being insane enough to give it a shot. I imagine we'll stand hold half the fight after his pets are dead anyhow.

I think I've got a pretty good idea, and my LS have some good people in it so I can't wait to try it but I'm gonna make some melee level /SAM and stuff before we go just for ease. The first time we did gods, we did it with no more than 2 deaths (go go Chainspell Flare + Firaga III) and it was easy as hell because we planned and got good people.

the best advice I can give for kirin is to have a PS2 with Digital Devil Saga nearby. Fight is so damn dull >.>

Its only dull if you're a ranger, rdm, or anything that isn't a melee.

I say ranger because all they do is shoot>shoot>shoot with no real lust to damage it. DRK, SAM, THF however is a totally different concept for kirin, and when you have the ability to tank it straight up, then kirin not only becomes easier to kill, but also more fun in the process.

In other words, marathoning Kirin SUCKS!

We don't use DRGs, MNKs just chi blast, marathoned or not, but WAR definitely.

Eh so we did this fight 2 days ago, wiped the first one, but we won the 2nd in just under 2 hours with 27 people. Then some people were too tired so we went home -.-
