While I haven't read the books myself, I heard Brown made up a lot of the stuff in it. You hear anything about that, Joft?

yes, but they are works of fiction, openly so. and it would have been tedious to write (or read) a preface/acknowledgements section as long as those of "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" outlining every part that was fictionalized
