Anywho, how many upgrades there are in FFXI so far? We've seen Scythe, Bow, Gun recently, anything else? How about a Horn?

The horn is one of the most amazing ones, I'm suprised noone has pooled money for this yet.

Ballad and Haste is really of interest on an HNM stand point.

It was confirmed that the LVL 4 horn in dynamis ONLY increased the length of time the song stuck, and not the effect of the song. Along with other stuff that i read in the PM, it sounded like a total waste.

I was aware of the fact that it only affects longevity of songs and not potency, thought there was more to it than just that, but Wind Instrument +10 along with Singing Skill... no? Also where ta fuck is Relic String Instrument? Kinda messed up that there isn't one.

I'm very very sad. (Yet I still want it. lol )

Yeah but still +2 to every song is nice for the final form, allows a bard to sell any horn with +2 to a song or just the ones they have for chr boost.

maybe it has some hidden latent effect to increase the speed of the song by 3x or the potency by 3x since that seems to be the theme with full relic weps

Still for all the pain it's not worth it...

and they wouldn't be able to get rid of allll their horns/strings. There are +3 items and +%haste items... so... for the money time and work it's not work it... going with a weapon that can "Change the game" is much more worth it in my opinion...

But what ever you get you are Fking locked to the job for life. If you get a Gun, you better really really like rng, cause i doubt may ppl will ask you to come to something different.
