Tiamat luck?

Heya, this is Derzoll from Kupo LS on Pandemonium Server. I'd assume we have been really lucky, but i just want to confirm.

We have done total of 5 Tiamat's now, and our drops has mostly looked like this:

5 Tiamats, total score:

5 Herald's Gaiters.
4 Wyrm Horn.
3 Noritsune Kote.
And other random crap like D.Cloth, Behemoth Hide etc.

Luck, or is Herald Gaiters not as rare?

a guy from pg&way who have killed it like 50 times told me gaiters and kote are like 70%

We keep a TH+3 THF in all the fight though, maybe has something to do with that?

We got bad luck ._. I think it's something like

2 Gaiters
3 N.Kote
/ about 11 or 12 Tiamats

They've never both dropped at the same time for our ls. We've also killed it and got zero drops before, and killed it again and got only a fire crystal. 8)

Almost 100% on Wyrm Horns though across all wyrms, only a couple have ever not dropped it. Crafted the last one into Dragon harness +1

I'm in the same LS as Derzoll. I assume from the general responses we've just been lucky so far though no one has commented on the involvement of their Thief or Thieves.

We'll probably get a better idea of the drop rate after doing 10 or more in the same fashion as we have been.

We always have a thief in at the end quarter at least, we've had a thief in the entire fight at least 3 times, nothing too spectacular on the drops, I think the best we scored was 1 kote when a thief has been in the whole fight. All our thf have at least TH3.

As an update, we just killed Tiamat again today (Saturday). This one was probably our longest fight ever due to lacking people we usually have. Anyway this time he only dropped a Wyrm Horn. I guess our lucky streak has ended. ; ;

Nothing else worth mentioning, a Divine Log or two.. and I think some ore once.

Our first kill had 0 drops, region was under beastman control e.e;
