July 10 BG Update

Been a long time in coming for me on SAM, 5/5 feels pretty nice. Its not a horrible piece as far as melee af2 goes, easily replaces optical hat for sam with the hp + def. Sucks that I lost lot on both pld bodies, 110, 565ish or so, but a big grats to lito, bikk and kuno on their new pieces.

We have had 1 dynamis run drop 5 pieces of AF2 also. Its a lot of fun when that happens

With exception of maybe one time, we've never done a Dynamis-Xarcabard and gotten less than 3 AF2, we just lucked out and got nice job selection this time around.

we froze to do DL with about 1 hour 45 min left too, if that time had been put toward more farming we could have scored even more

we decided to farm the first eyes as soon as you enter and got nin and drg AF to drop

i got the the bootleg alkyoneus gloves and the drg piece got auto distributed because nobody wanted it.

I'd tell ya how the fight went, if we actually fought DL. (You can read that as trying to find shortcuts in encounters is retarded and people who would rather take shortcuts than do things right get owned.) If the ranged attack nerf doesn't own RNG damage we'll probably have a good shot at it if too many people aren't on vacation in the coming weeks.

It doesn't hurt them one bit. Just make sure you have 4 RDM/DRK, possibly have 6 if your first time. We killed on our 1st real attempt with 5 RNGs, 3 SAM/RNGs and 5 RDM/DRKs. RNGs weren't gimped at all.

Btw, are you saying that eyes have a higher % of dropping AF2 than Demons? I do not run out Dynamis, yet I thought I hear them say the same thing, just not sure. Might be useful on our next run. Especially the eyes on the 1st platform you come to.

I am talking about RNGs vs DL. Not saying they are gimped in other things.

The rumor is the closer you get the higher your RACC is but the lower your RATK. And the opposite. Either way, RNGs can choose which they are going to do on DL. Since DL shouldn't even get to move.

i wasn't talking about other things either. when you have half a dozen people choosing what they are going to do in a hectic situation it leaves a lot of room for people to make mistakes.
