If you ignore the item's history and just look at the way things stand now, 2,000,000 gil for an item that has about a 10% (or lower) drop rate from a BCNM40 sounds about right.

So what about tilt belts? They were 200k on Bahamut last Friday or so. Saturday they were 50k. Sunday they were 10k. Earlier today they were selling for 2000-5000 gil each, so I just delisted mine and vendored it for 1500g... It wasn't worth the trouble anymore.
