Clamming

I had noticed the recast of the clamming spots too.
It seems like they either shorten the recast after the patch or there is actually a skill to it o_O

And with the new HQ swimsuit i tend to fill up my bucket faster with jackfishes.

It sux now that the market is flooded w. HQ scales and Coral ;; that was main source of money from clamming.

Hmmmm.... all ive had through clamming is some slugs and jackknives.... so there is moe to this clamming lark then? I'm going to read the guide uve linked above and have another go at this XD

I'm thinking there has to be some hidden skill, or I'm just incredibly unlucky. I spent a couple of hours clamming this afternoon and found a couple coral fragments, HQ scales, 3 stacks of jacknives, and a handful of shall shells/nebimonites. I dug up a titanticus shell once but it was followed by an igneous rock, and I lost it. Made 20-30k, more if the jacknives sell (which they probably won't). Is there some trick I don't know or is this just because the swimsuit fad has killed prices?

Edit to add: Also, how frequently do you clammers actually get a 150pz+ bucket? I managed to get a 150 once or twice, but seemed pretty tough to get within 5pz of the limit without going over.

My bucket seems to always be pretty crap... my friend said after i get like 4/5 items to go back to the mithra and she upgrades u to a bigger bucket.... whats this about?
