Debuffing Kirin correctly

i actually have more trouble landing elegy than the others

Kirin's only Earth-type, Moggy.

yeah but its upsetting when i managed to land slow before elegy, both earth spells, somethings fk'd up hahaha, my slow lasted a full 2 minutes, elegy lasted 3 minutes which should be close to 0 resist, whole fight landed silence 8 times, paraylze 4 times, slow 5 times, elegy 7 times, couldn't get requiem or lullaby off

NIN debuffs have an okay landing rate on him, especially Para. Lord knows I've made kiting during gods a lot less stressful by seeing lots of
Kirin is paralyzed.

Silence (when it lands) for me sticks a long time. I've gotten better at landing it, mainly by only casting it during important times (not random spams) and using a certain gear setup.

When it lands it will stick for like 2 minutes, which is fun.

All of the debuffs land relatively easy (I can land them as WHM without much difficulty) ... that said, my linkshell actually prefers that we not silence Kirin. Since we kite him, the time that it takes to cast Quake or Stone V on a NIN is great for WS, etc. ... and we never have any trouble outrunning Stonega IV.

Same, he's just silenced when it's important (it usually isn't). It's much more important to silence suzaku when some retard breaks ALL the binds, luckily he's real easy to silence.
