I'm just glad to see that Oklahoma probably won't be in the BCS title game to get blown out this year.

Texas-Ohio State should be a hell of a game, as should FSU-Miami.

Regarding my particular neck of the woods, Oregon State's new QB looked pretty damn good. Admittedly, they were playing Division I-AA Portland State, but they still played fundamentally solid football. I'm still worried about their running game (77 total rushing yards), but their RB caught for 109 yards, much of it on shovel passes.

The stadium is night and day, though. All of a sudden piddly little Corvallis, OR has a real football stadium. Next week's home game against Boise State should be very interesting. Not sure what their destruction between the hedges meant. Is BSU that bad or is Georgia that good? Probably some combination of the two.

Not this year, buddy. Zac Taylor looks pretty sharp if he can get some help from our receivers. The Defense looked REAL sharp... but it was vs. Maine.

I also can't wait for Texas vs OSU... in Columbus, should be good.

VT - Marcus Vick looked pretty good (anyone else notice the ESPN guys kept calling him "Michael"?), and with the way the Florida teams played last night VT might be lookin real good to win the ACC.

A few good games this week... OSU and Texas, Michigan and Notre Dame. I wish the Nebraska game (vs Wake Forest) wasn't the same time as OSU vs Texas Gonna have to be swappin back and forth, or use picture and picture or somethin

Marcus Vick is the new Micheal Vick.

He showed the same things as Micheal did in his first game starting. If you're wondering why he didn't rush for more yards, or throw deep passes, it's because NCState's Defense is extremely fast and really didn't let anyone rush to the outside/throw deep. The few times we tried (very few), there was excellent coverage on everyone.

One major diffrence ......... Marcus actually stands in the pocket and goes through his reciever progressions. One thing that Michael Vick had issue's with was being able to hit the third and fourth reciever. Guess it dont matter though when noone can tackle you though.

Michael does that now in the NFL, though. It's probably something that Marcus learned while watching film and being with his brother last year. I don't think Marcus is going to have as much of that ability to evade tackles, though.
