I recently got ahold of a pair of black sollerets,

Str+3, Attack+8, dmg taken +8%, "enhances effect of Absorb spells".

went out to try some magic thinking it would boost the amount of the stat given from absorb. No changes at all ; ;. Anyone have any info on what the enhancement is?

Increases duration of the effect. Dunno if the effect stacks with other pieces of DRK JSE.

Even if it gives three extra STR on ABS-STR, that is worthless compared to the difficulty of obtaining the ingredients. And I thought RDM JSE was worthless...

The legs are much better, STR+4 Attack+16. The BCNM is also retardedly easy if you know what to do, you can send me a PM if you want to know the general idea.

oshi, the sollerets are the feet then right? (I know absolutely nothing about melee gear, let alone DRK gear that maybe 10 people across all servers have)

Darm has the legs, not the feet so maybe the effect on the feet are different.

Sounds like a macro-swap piece. More and more I've been noticing this seems to be occuring with one or more jobs each update. Maybe SE is trying to consider other jobs to have a shitload of items in inventory at all times like any decent RDM should?

I have 2 pallets solely for RDM ... >.> And it's still not enough, need more lines/macro >O

I've got the legs (HQ actually-_-) and I've tried Absorbing and I only noticed that it will last 10 seconds longer. 1:40 instead of 1:30.

I forget why I thought it had more stat drain, I think I made an equipment switch between drains or something lolo. Also how did my artwork make it here!?

thx for the replies =D. I decided on boots over pants because of the total crappiness of adaman sollerets. I like dusk trousers on my hume for the hp boost as well. So i'm not too dissapointed, the abs wasn't the reason i got them although extra stat drains would be nice =/.

If I ever do manage to get enough kunwu ore for this, I'm gonna aim for legs first. Most +strength for leg armor that DRK can equip and has a decent amount of +attack.
