yea, like my place. I can only get dial-up or DirecTV satellite. Which btw for games Dial-up > DTV Satellite(3-4 second delay for everything)

And verizon is more than just a cell phone company.. Local and Long distance, DSL, Fiber optics more like a broadband company than anything. Verizon is working on a deal to buy MCI, and put them out of business.

if verizon buys mci then they can just super glue a sign to their head saying "I own you" because before mci got a hold of worldcom (or something along the lines of that) and WC has pretty much has the whole US wired up lol.

SBC came out with this same deal earlier this year, they offer 1.5mbit speeds. I think sbc is only availble in the south though.
