..that when you kill an Aern in sea, and if it reraises, as long as you're out of range, it wont come to attack you after it reraises. So basically, after it does raise up, run out of range, and watch the magic happen.

Eh maybe it's a little more. idk... Whatever 105 times the chain6+ time limit is. I thought it was 30 seconds, maybe it's 50 so then that makes it closer to 90 minutes instead of 60. I don't know I just cast roughly 80 sleeps and 120 refreshes and I end up with around 12k XP, hard to complain but it's still boring as hell.

I've killed aerns with SATA Shark (yes, TA registered), to have it aggro me.

Aerns attack whoever the fuck they want when they reraise, although sometimes they dont attack anyone.

but my point wasn't who they attack when they reraise, but more the conditions under which they reraise red or yellow (and what I saw myself)

Only double magic dmg is against Hpemde when they open their mouths.

I think it's actually around chain 80 in an hour, but I haven't done the sea SMN pet XP thing in a while. According to this chart the amount of time for chain 5+ from 61-70 is 70sec. I can only assume it's around the same for lv71+, but I've never tried timing it myself. You can of course kill the pet in much less time than that which allows for higher than chain 60ish in an hour.
