Just did Apollyon: Mea: SE Apollyon

First floor: Slimes, Slime boss
Second floor: Crabs, Kraken boss
Third floor: Skeletons, Corse boss
Fourth floor: Weapons, Large Weapon boss

Didn't get any farther ; ; for some reason someone pulled before everyone in our alliance entered, and apparently it blocks you out just like a BCNM, so we had to go with ~10 people (including no WHM's...) so we had a rough time. Mobs arent too hard, they all seemed resistant, normal, and weak to one type of damage (at least) so we had to figure that out. Plan on going again soon~

Floor 4: Evil Weapons < 100% magic resist

We got r/e items for DRG and SAM upgrade from final crate and about 28 coins. Wouldve been more but we left too many mobs alive.

We just did SW Apollyon path, dem crag, red card like the earlier posters.
1st floor is alot of fomors and had 3armory crates at the end. We opened the blue one and got a 10minute time extension.

2nd floor was Treants (once killed another animal pops from them-bee, opo opo, crawler, beetle) we didn't see any crates on that one.

3rd floor was mimics (some were actual crates, others were mobs). We found 2 to be actual crates: one with 4 currency and an item, the other with a 10min extension.

4th and final floor was elementals. 3 of each elemental to be exact. At the end of this floor was one armory crate. It held 5currency, charcoal chip, and some af+1 items.

We killed every fomor, most of the treants, most of the mimics, and all but 1 elemental. Final tally was 32currency, the lacquer wood for nin af, white rivet for pld af, fetid lanolin cube (unknown af), and charcoal chip (also unknown usage).

Cleared the whole thing. When you clear the final Elemental floor you get a single chest which gave us 7 coins, 2 material, and 1 Charcoal Chip

1st: Fomor. Choice of 3 chest (Blue = +10 Time, Others = HP/MP restore and Items)
2nd: Treants + Creatures. Choice of 3 chest (Blue = +10 Time , Others = HP/MP Restore and Items)
3rd: Chests. one is +10 Minute, one is HP/MP, one is Items, the rest are nothing or Mimics
4th: Elementals, clear all for a final chest and exit the Zone

The tonberrys were a huge pain in the ass ... we got Astral Flow'd 4 times (3 from Tonberrys and 1 from a Demon), and Mijin Gakure'd once (in all of the cases cases, they put everyone in read health ... one or two people died). The Astral Flow behavior is kind of like Kirin ... the beastman has a pet that is out at all times, then when it is time to Astral Flow, it instantly summons an avitar and uses Astral Flow. As far I know, there is no effective way of blocking it except perhaps a well-timed stun.

After the beastmen on each floor were defeated (actually, I think there was a single trigger because a few times we got pop when we killed out of a normal order), 3 chests spawned. When one was chosen, the other two despawned.

Blue chest was always 15-minute time extension.
Silver chest (wood with silver-ish metal parts) were HP/MP recovery
Gold chest (wood with gold-ish metal parts) were treasure

We only opened one Gold chest twice ... once on the 4th (Antican) floor and got coins + Benedict Silk, and it was the only one that spawned on the last floor, and gave one of the dragoon upgrade items (I forget which one), coins, and a chip.

We went to Holla...we zoned into a staging area in the north end of the map (pretty much north/center). It was called Temeras or something. We took the elevator and it gave us 3 choices (we had farmed white, red, black cards). We selected North, which used the white card.

A quick note, we were antsy to start because it said 30 minute. We engaged too soon and one of our alliance who was farting around didn't enter in time and was locked out...just like in a bcnm. So make sure your entire group is entered before you initiate combat.

It was a series of floors in a tower. Each floor had a different family of mobs. When you killed the first mob, you'd get a message saying that the gate had been opened, and notifying you how much time was left. When you killed all the mobs on a floor, 3 chests would appear. The first time we selected brown, and got hp/mp refill. Shitty. After that we selected blue, and got 15 minute time extension. After that, we selected blue every time for another 15 minutes. We completed the zone with over 30 minutes to spare.

Let's see if I remember this...first floor moblins...second floor gigas...third floor sahagin...fourth floor demons?...fifth floor tonberries...sixth floor anticans...seventh floor moblins again...I might have the order mixed, but those were the families we fought...you get the idea. Some were nms complete with names. Others had dynamis style names. All had specific jobs with two hours.

BEWARE SUMMONER MOBS!!!

They summon an elemental...you think it's all good...but they also summon an avatar for instantanous Astral Flow, just like Kirin does. If your alliance all has full hp you'll live, but you'll be hurt...make sure your mages are on the ball. Save summoners for last is my suggestion.

We had shitty drops. Only got 15 ancient coins (no thief in our group). Another alliance in our LS did the other area (the one that looks like promyvion). On our word, they took a thief and got 44 coins. TH4 makes a difference.

Clearing the final floor yields a single chest. We opened it and got 5 coins and 2 of the r/e items. Too bad none of us knew which items matched which af+1 upgrades.

Too bad most of the af+1 upgrades blow.

Let's here it for saving for those awesome new earrings though.

We got the same thing Ankiseth got, which is interesting because we had a different card. I'm guessing now that Cards determine what items you get? And that the towers are just the same all the time?

There were four on each level, and they all aggro'd and linked. On some levels, especially the earth level, the elementals were arranged in really tricky patterns which made it very difficult to pull without links. The elementals did sleep however, which made it easier.

Each time we killed an elemental, a crate popped, and when we touched the crate the other elementals all depopped, and we would get various things:

1st : Time ext. (15 min)
2nd : Time ext. (15 min)
3rd : Time ext. (15 min)
4th : HP/MP recovery, Ability recharge
5th : HP/MP recovery, Ability recharge
6th : HP/MP recovery, Ability recharge

The final floor was an exception, there were only 2 Dark Elementals, and we were forced to defeat both of them. Then two chests popped, and we picked one and got this:

None of the elementals dropped anything along the way.

Our PT was PLD PLD RNG SMN BRD BLM. The only time we wiped was on the Earth floor, because the link was unavoidable, and our attempts to deathpull and SMN pull were ineffective. Once we buckled down and Sleep'd the add all the time, it was just an endurance match vs the one target Earth Elemental.

I'm the RNG, and I got the Chameleon Yarn. 1/2 items toward that Hunter's Braccae +1.
