    Magic Accuracy..... explain plz.........

    What is magic accuracy acutally -_-" how is it compare to actualy magic skill like enfeebling or elemental skillz?
    let's say hmmm wise cap vs elit berret(sp?) +1
    one has magic acc +5, other has enfeebling/elemental +5
    which one is better choice.
    Spent a month trying to get a +1 of wise braconi, over 18 craft still all NQs >.> . Just wondering if it worth this many troubles.

    It's probably a 1% better chance to land the spell, since magaic accuracy in the merit menu seems to imply it's 1%.

    Idk, I use skill and it works for me.

    it's the white box makes it better then the HQ errant leg >.> if it's only +2 mag acc i wont bother to toss +8 int/mnd for that :/
    and magic evasion? lol a new term again... list a mob that has high mag eva?

    While we're on the topic of MACC. Anyone have further in-depth testing with that Gramary Cape? (+1 MACC, +2 MDEF). I used it once in an uncapped Ballista just for the hell of it but that's not exactly enough to prove anything (as opposed to Red Cape +1).

    It was a joke because magic acc is a load of shit. But yeah it probably would help sleep bats and help lower resists somehow.

    Though I have no proof of anything, when I first heard of Magic Acc, I took it as SE compiling things into one category. Instead of writing dark skill+, ele skill+, etc etc... just lump it all into one much like damage reduction items. You have breath damage, magic damage, and physical damage. If the item does everything, it's just written as "damage -%".

    I have no idea how Macc works but I think I need some. Granted, I sub drk to almost all god hunts, but I still can barely land a damn enfeeble on gods with 328 enfeebling, HQ staves, and 70+35ish mnd. I'm just capped mp and enfeebling merits, so next I'm going to work on Macc (wind all the way) and hope to god I can actually silence Suzaku. I was also thinking about trying to jack up my mnd score to +40-50, but that'd require a lot of money for such a minimal gain, not to mention my inventory space is already strained. Macc merits are free, and don't take any inventory spots.

    Fyi my gear is:

    Head: Duelist Chapeu
    Neck: Enfeebling Torque
    Held: Phantom Tathlum
    Body: Warlock's Tabard
    Hands: Wood Gauntlets
    Rings: Sapphire x2
    Legs: Errant
    Feet: Errant
    Back: Rainbow Cape
    Waist: Forest Rope
    Earrings: Enfeebling, Morion

    Edit: Btw I'd probably take the Wise cap over Elita Beret, but AF2 hat kicks the crap outta that, imo.

    how u only have 328 enfeebling if u have af2 hate earring and full merit >.>? dont bother with silence gods. full merit/enfeebling gear cant even silence the baby suzaku with elemental seal, yet on the same day 21/23 gravity landed on kirin, and last a good while too. This things is just random when u against god imo... correct me if i am wrong.

    Well, Base 276, 15 from hat, 15 from body, 7 from torque, 3 from earring, 12 from merits = 328. Kirin is very easy to silence/gravity as he's earth based. Then again Seiryu is wind based and my paralyze never lands I can usually silence baby Suzaku pretty easily, but yet to land it on the real thing.

    Supposedly Magical Accuracy was made to lessen the number of marco swaps that RDMs use, but the Wise set has so little Magical Accuracy that it is fairly worthless.

    Gods are just extremely resistant to enfeebling spells, especially Silence. I have an OK (and OK means twice in a blue moon) rate for Paralyze on gods, but I have two ice merits. Gods are actually fun compaired to Jailers and other Sea NMs- they are 100% resistant to all but one or two enfeebles each. (And BLMs can land those enfeebles easily. God I live to cast refresh over nad over again.)
