I went as a naked BST and wasted a carrie, since nothing ended up aggroing me anyway, anyone can solo it.

Go into prommy > summon NPC from Rondevous point > touch the ??? on that floor > poof you're done.

it allows you to call your npc everytime you use it. You can use all 4 charges and get a new pearl after every conquest tally

Ok I went inside Promyvion-Holla, touched the Rendezvous Point, and nothing happened. I tried trading my earring to the rendezvous point to, what am I doing wrong here? Is this considered an escort quest? I think I still have the Tavnazia one active.

She has to tell you shes going to explore the emptyness, to get the quest.

The Tactics is better because its 4 charges, whenever you want, with no recast. So you can call out your npc with a signal, and then 4 times again immediatly after that.

When you are at a Rendezvous Point in a city, if your NPC gives you a message that he/she was asked to investigate the Emptiness phenomena when you ask about quests, you are flagged for it.

I went in as WHM with Zoldof on attacker- your NPC will chew up emptiness mobs. He was hitting for over 100 damage and generally took 5 to 20 on Wanderers; we even took out a few tough Thinkers for the hell of it. The nice thing is that when you complete the task (by touching a ??? spot that is fairly close to the entrance) your NPC will get XP. Someone said that it is like 300XP + (number of mobs killed x 40) if you touch the one on the first floor, there is a spot on the second floor that gives more XP.

The Tactics Pearl has 4 charges, recast time of 10 minutes, and will not harm your relationship with your NPC when you throw it out. It looks like it was designed for higher-levels when it is going to be nearly impossible to solo 20 fights in the time limit, you will have to party up to get XP and 5 sessions in one day will make it far more convenient.

I am fairly certain that it is once per conquest week. The only person who said that you could get it once every three days got his initial quest on a Thursday, so his third day was on Sunday after the conquest tally. Everyone else has received the quest once a week.
