Can someone help me understand Argus' pop?

I have npc all of the drops I've gotten from that bcnm. In 4 runs I netted a total of 30k gil.

I'm 0/19 on the BC with no drops worth more than 50k.

1/1 on Argus after patch.

Nin/war works fine, nin/rdm works better. you get m.atk bonus and fast cast, in addition to some curing for when the big eye firagas you. Have done it several times, have yet to see a charm, but seems to be a pretty decent drop rate on ni and erase.

Also, for the third slot, I've completed the BCNM just fine with bst, smn, or rdm. All that matters is that they have a way to keep the sobbing eye busy and away from them for 3-4 minutes while the ninjas each solo an eye (3 full elemental wheels with /rdm m.atk bonus and they die).

And Argus... Argus just blows. /agree that making his drop rare/ex should have fixed the gilseller problem, now he's just flat-out impossible to camp, change his damn spawn time (I've submitted this under the official suggestions box as has my entire linkshell, not that I actually expect that to do anything).

if you use an int setup, it actually only takes ~2 wheels, and just for the record BST can kite 2 eyes at a time...currently 1/12 on under observation, 0/1 on argus and 1/1 on leech king

I did this BCNM easy peasy with 1 NIN, 1 BST/WHM, and 1 me(RDM/NIN).

NIN/WAR melee'd + turned around before it used hex eye. When it used hex eye, BST would paralyna the NIN. I kited the big fatty eye around. BST put his pet on the other eye to keep it occupied. Use crab, since frogs dont last very long in this one. Have the bst summon pet and wait a bit though, timer on call beast.
