I think it only draws more attention towards them being a RMT'er for not showing there gil just seems like you have something to hide, but on the other hand people will say you RMT if you show it, so either way its a lose lose situationOriginally Posted by royze
I'll show you gimp (and omg no gil censorship!):

NQ amemit mantle + Pixie earring
Only reason I keep the NQ mantle is it's from my friend who quit FFXI, and it's tagged with his name, so it has sentimental value to it
Unlike a gimpy mnk on asura with a NQ amemit + Blackbelt lawls.

You know you could just get an HQ amemit mantle (or forager's) and just bazaar the nq?Originally Posted by Lordwafik
No, it's not like that. Wearing something of sentimental value is just that, I have a similar situation myself with my Enfeebling Torque. It was a gift from a good friend who left.
I have 3 jobs, and each job has 2-3 different things I can use for each slot, I have no spaceOriginally Posted by Razz
You're lucky you have AF2 helm The ONE time I've ever seen it drop in the 100000 times I've been to dynamis windurst, it got randomed to a THF before I could lot. -.- And then I lost lots last week on AF2 feet. All the other BSTs on bahamut have full AF2. I'm 2/5.
At least I have HQ amemet.
lol, i've had it since lvl50 I am only 3/5 on BST af2 (do those pants even count? kekeke), the one time my old JP dynamis LS went to beaucedine, they recruited a BST , and BST af dropped, and I wasnt allowed to lot it(or get it by default since my bst is up high). Im not surprised at all. All the "uber" gear isnt necessary. Sure you wont pump out insane numbers, but you still do ok damage.Originally Posted by Zigma
Heck, I met an insanely great WHM in the dunes, who managed to keep my whole party healed. What was she? Elvaan WHM14/MNK06. No astral rings, nothing, she was just wearing swimwear gear from the summerfest event.
I dont mind too much when someone doesnt wear bbq armor, but unless you're a super gimp, and rely on free or free-rare/ex gear, that's when I care. Because that shows you're not putting an effort into making yourself useful, but instead leeching off drops.
Really depends on the job whether gear is important. Thf in the 30s, as long as you know how to SATA and use acc food you'll do fine.
so why don't you have the scroll from the quest?Originally Posted by Marcatil
might've quested and sold it already, maybe you can get a mule to quest it >.>
Mage's Ballad requires some fame and two pre-requisate(sp?) quests wich you both need 5 other people for. Aspir requires no thinking either but it still costs alot. 100k isnt that much anyways just buy it >.>
I bought Mage's Ballad cause i didnt want to find people to make a party to acutally finish the quest, Aspir i have to quest for as well as some other spells that i bought to get some money back
I wore that on my monk until I got voyager's sallet at 56. >.>Originally Posted by Mekhami
