30k gain per synth (Though I didn't pay for the memories/animas, ENM30's ftw) and sells pretty fast. HQ Linen CLoth from Tonberry Coats and save even more money |:
I tried that for a bit but I hq'd way too many of the base headbands, and they sold really slowly. Finding animas can be difficult or costly unless you have access to an Alchemist who can make them. In the end, I just made my money back from buying the key item and quit making them for profit.
Making Velvet/Silk cloth is a bulletproof profit strategy that you can turn into 100k profit a day in half an hour at the AH counter. It takes zero thought, there is zero risk, and competition rarely interferes with your ability to make money off of it. Furthermore, it is extremely difficult to flood because people like me who buy velvet/silk in huge quantities and then end up trashing 90% of it while looking for rarer hqs. Bet you wish you could say that about traditional farming.
are you even on bahamut? or do you like to jump bandwagons too?Originally Posted by Lordwafik
I get 19 tells a day "how can I make money to fund my clothcraft" and this is my exact recommendation. 95% of the people will respond with "that sounds too hard" or "that's boring".Making Velvet/Silk cloth is a bulletproof profit strategy that you can turn into 100k profit a day in half an hour at the AH counter. Isn't that in itself bandwagon jumping?Originally Posted by Demetrick
umm no, i played on bahamut, and i was friends with carbon. I don't give a shit either way to what he did, but people from other servers like to come here and jump the bandwagon about people on our server that aren't liked. If Lordwafik plays on bahamut and knows Carbon, then I can see his arguement as legit. If not, then let it slide, the buying and selling of gil isn't cross server (i don't think) so its nonejadamnbusiness.Originally Posted by Russta
My friend sold gil on remora (not fagality) but i don't go to their message boards and flame everyone there cuz i know him.
Not to hijack the thread too far but I'm 70+1 alchemy with the anima key item. Hit me up if you need Animas made. Still skilling up on them for 5 more levels so I'll have them bouncing around on a mule.
Along those lines, if anyone is selling Femina Subligars on Siren I'm paying 2m per.Originally Posted by Cotillion

I couldn't care less whether or not Carbon buys gil because he's not on my server and doesn't affect my economy. My point was you jumped on a whole different bandwagon when you called someone mildly mocking a player not on his own server a bandwagon jumper.Originally Posted by Demetrick
