Man this thread owns that rap one I made way back, even though that got page 10 in like 5 seconds flat.

As for people trying to stand out, that is all utter bullshit. I'm really into punk and well I guess I dress like a punk, but not just to be different. Like uh... my boots are steal-toed so I don't get fucked up in a moshpit, and I have a motor-cycle license so I wear a leather jacket.

Damn school is blocking all the YTMND's ;_; I'm gonna go listen to some Taking Back Sunday and slowly slit my wrists with plastic safety scissors.

Oh ya, as for my project, I think I'll still do it on emo kids...but I will distinguish between the "real" emo kids and "fake" emo kids.

EDIT: Just because a word once had a meaning which made it only one thing, does not mean that over time it can not change. At one point in time emo may of just been a word to describe the genre of music, but it has changed to a word describing a subculture of people. Just like punk was once referring to only a music genre, and metal too (well, "metalheads" is close enough to metal ;p).
