X's knife increases critical hit damage. o.O Does that mean if you get a crit you'd do more damage then a normal critical? How does that work in combination with sneak attack? O.o

Seen a couple threads so far that have said that's what the latent is, though none from the person who actually owns one. Just "this JP who has it told me..." kinda thing.

The rematch fight fights are fairly easy. I think we did a run of about 5-6 of them with a setup of smn smn brd rdm nin thf. Basically just run in and blast them then sleep them and then blast again and its about over.

We never got the trident and only one dagger. So yeah the drop rate on the weapons is pretty low.

The fight is really only worth doing for the weapons since I think the total drops of each chest we got was around 100k.

And yes the thf told me that she noticed a decent boost in the damage of her crits with that knife.

No, getting Blazered often times means that the other person just barely beat your lot. Like when you lot 977 for a Duelist's Chapeau and the other person lots 980. Not that that is a real example or anything.

My set has done this quest a ton in hopes of getting our drg the trident. Hasn't dropped yet, though we've gotten the other two weapons. The other rumor on the latent is that it's activated if you're a mithra, but who knows. Sometimes we've opened the chest and gotten absolutely nothing, other times we get a galetciaicia, and still one time we got the dagger, a dam. ingot, granitex2, philospher's stonex2, and a phoenix feather.
