Going to be fighting him for the first time tonight, no idea what to expect. Heard you need mass amounts of stun. Would PLD/NIN or PLD/WAR be better or would a NIN tank be better altogether? Any strategies or tips would be appreciated ^^

More melee = harder. Don't give it tons of TP and it's easy. Sad but true.

We used ninjas. It has hate reset move, so bring more than 1 tank. *edit* actually bring more than 1 tank because you're pretty much gaurenteed to have 2 bad moves together killing a tank off no matter what. A 3rd is a good idea to stand around looking bored until the gunpods pop.

do not use weapon skills while it's on it's 4 legs. instaed save TP for when it goes onto its hind legs. 4 legs = weak to melee, 2 legs = weak to magic. so what you do is wait for it to stand up, then unload a WS and have your mages burst the shit out of it. we dropped its bar 50% with one one SC this way, because like 5 mages were bursting on that it got fucking owned.

Our group is definately BLM heavy, we had 7 BLM's last run I think. What SC would you recommend, Light or Darkness?

light. notice all the apollyons have double dark weather. so does central. all the temenos have double light weather, so does central. so you can deduce that omega is dark based and ultima is light based, and plan accordingly
