Vash killed that one guy who sent some random people he had mind control over to go kill those two girls he travels with. Forgot all their names, but the guy that gets killed is one of Vash's brother's goons, he had blue or purple hair, or something. >_>

Vash just can't be taken as seriously unless someone else is in trouble (and the extreme case that a Gramaton Cleric mind controls a town to take two girls hostage and threaten to kill them and vash in order to have vash kill the Cleric) in which case he will win...
