    Luisant set on Bahamut server.

    I've been having fun leveling WAR recently, so I may be looking for the full set of the Luisant gear in the near future. Last I remember the body was around 10m and the other pieces ranged from 500k-3m each. How are their prices/rarity on Bahamut now adays? Any crafters around who are confident in their ability to HQ the Alumine stuff that can give me a quote? Or anyone who is looking to sell theirs?

    Why not just wait and get better gear instead of wasting money?

    Luisant = not worth the time/effort/resources.

    Why? Because I enjoy playing my jobs with the best gear available when possible.

    I believe you are mistaken, though. In this case I would be investing my money, not wasting it. Putting my money into pimp gear such as this not only helps make my stats above average while leveling, but it also protects my assets from devaluing during all this inflation. When I outgrow a piece, then it can be sold so that I can use the procedes to buy the next best thing so my money is never lost here.

    Dunno about your server, but a month or two after luisant was initially released, I made my body for about the price of a haubergeon (that includes an HQ fee that I paid). If you know a 100smither with the required subs, why not try to make it. You got a 30% chance.

    The reason I quote people is that I agree with the basic idea stated in the quoted post, and making an original message would be redundant as such.

    In this case, a Luisant Hauberk is a waste of time, gil, and life. Owning one means that you are a) JP or B) a gilbuyer.

    HQed 2/6 on feet on some good days, probably goes the same rate for hand and head too. those piece are easy to HQ. but the body, never try, but i think it's harder to HQ than a haubergeon. with the price now 400k per ore, 1.5m per ingot, and the never sell NQs, good luck >.> 30m+ price wont be a surpriced for that junk.
    seriously :/ get a full set thick/hauberk+1 probably will cost way less than that junk set.

    Obviously I'm not JP. I guess I'm a gil buyer! Gotta be. No NA would ever want this item unless they bought gil. Ever.

    Buying a peice of equipment is never a waste of gil if you can and will sell it again. (Unless price deflation is immenent.)
