How to motivate BRDs to Merit?

So tell me your most dirty tricks to motivate BRDs to come merit with you!
- Promise them women?
- Gil?
- 2 Box a BRD?

I think BLM, BRD, and WHM are all equally boring to level. BLM is less boring in a normal set up party(OMFG AT THE GIMPS EXP).

Give BRDs merits that actually do something useful.

BRD don't want to merit because they don't need to.

On my bard character, I used to love meriting bard in monk/WAR pt's.

Particularly WAR pt's.

Because it require a bit more than just casting songs. I like to pull and cast songs at same time, and I got pretty good at it. And of course I used all the merits for my WAR

Quite the opposite of this, I hate meriting BLM. Manaburn pt's are dull as fuck and I would so much prefer to do it all on BRD.

screw KRT, figure out how to use the level capped zones to your advantage and you'll have a field day.

there's that and also the fact that a good bard with good melee can infinite chain D.Weapons in sky if the bard knows what the hell they're doing.

I think the real question is how to get a BRD to join a conventional PT. How can a BRD say 'yes' to an invite from a DRK/PLD/DRG/THF/SAM that will, at best, lead to 4k/hour?
