What Kind Of FFXI Player You Trully Are LoL

    Hours/Day ¦ Levels
    --------------¦--------------------------
    00 - 02 ¦Light FFXI Player
    03 - 05 ¦Medium FFXI Player
    06 - 09 ¦Heavy FFXI Player
    10 - 12 ¦Excessive FFXI Player
    13 - 15 ¦Extreme FFXI Player
    16 - 24 ¦FFXIholic

I thought I was only an Extreme FFXI Player. I realized by playing from
6-7AM until midnight-1AM that makes 17-19 Hours. So yeah I'm an FFXIholic. Here's some suggestions I found:

[1] Take a break from ffxi at least 10 minutes after every hour.
[2] Take regular exercise at least once every two days.
[3] Do not ignore your regular eating and sleeping hours.
[4] Do not ignore your friends, meet up with them on a regular basis.
[5] Do not let FFXI stop you from doing well at school.
[6] If you feel any discomfort while playing FFXI , stop immediately.
[7] Never play FFXI in the dark, as it is bad for your eyes.
[8] Seek medical advice if your use of FFXI is out of control.

Here's how it is for me:
[1]Taking a break from ffxi are you crazy lol, I don't want to miss an invite!
[2]Exercices??! What are you talking about lol....
    [3]I sleep enough....I think....and I eat when I eat lol....
[4]My friends play other games that I don't like lol...
[5]As long as I understand what's going on @ school I'm okai lol
[6]Discomfort hmmmm? You mean being pissed when I lose a claim rofl?
    [7]ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Light
    [8]Huh?! Doctor, never LoL

I went to a White Mage instead, he cast Erase on me and told me that I was fine.

This is written by the sort of person who posts a guide on Allakhazam about how Paladins should be tanking Nidhogg while being only level 30 himself.

Depending on day, I can vary between those three levels... Usually "Medium-Light"

    Checklist...
[1] Take a break from ffxi at least 10 minutes after every hour.
Nope... I'm definatly hurting my eyes staring at the screen nonstop during KRT parties... for 4 straight hours...

[2] Take regular exercise at least once every two days.
    Hmm... 1-2x a week?

[3] Do not ignore your regular eating and sleeping hours.
No breakfast... Lunch at 3 pm... Dinner at 9... and random food at 2 am...

[4] Do not ignore your friends, meet up with them on a regular basis.
Over winter break... this is one thing i've definatly done! Check.

[5] Do not let FFXI stop you from doing well at school.
Hm... I might have been able to do better... but its not FFXI's fault. I woulda been wasting time playing any other game instead.

[6] If you feel any discomfort while playing FFXI , stop immediately.
Hm... i guess i'm safe here...

[7] Never play FFXI in the dark, as it is bad for your eyes.
Last year, my roommate went to sleep too early... I had to camp HNMs at night often.

[8] Seek medical advice if your use of FFXI is out of control.
    Umm... ok

    My main problem is...
Friend: "Hey, do you want to do something?"
Me: "Um... I just... started this exp party, took forever to find a PT... I can't leave!"
Friend: "umm ok... but I gave you 1.5 hr advance notice..."
Me: "I need 3 hrs notice... Or else my PT will hate me."

My breaks from the game vary in length and sometimes don't even happen.

[2] Take regular exercise at least once every two days.
I do stuff that would be considered exercise every once in awhile.

[3] Do not ignore your regular eating and sleeping hours.
I think these are already to weird to be fixed.

[4] Do not ignore your friends, meet up with them on a regular basis.
I do when they are available.

[5] Do not let FFXI stop you from doing well at school.
I put school and ffxi on the same level of importance, both are responsibilitys which I try my best at.

[6] If you feel any discomfort while playing FFXI , stop immediately.
um... I usually do if I get sick or something...

[7] Never play FFXI in the dark, as it is bad for your eyes.
    Well I try not to.

[8] Seek medical advice if your use of FFXI is out of control.
    um... sure I guess...

Well, i think the trend with FFXI is something along these lines.

You buy the disc, having been a hard core FF fan your entire life.

you Get started and learn you can't do anything with others till Lv.10sh

You get to Lvl 10 Head to the dunes, and seek for 4-5 hours before getting an invite.

Your Puller Links all the lizards in the zone and you all die.

You Home Point, but intend to try again the next day.

The next day you get to lvl 12, /joy. you also made some friends, and talked about old FF games.

3 weeks later. You are lvl 20 in Qufim, you think you are a high lvl now because you can beat up shit in Konschtat Highlands on your own. You show off in front of all the people in south gustaberg lvling their 100th job .
They are not impressed. You train 20 Quadav's and die after invincible wears off. They /laugh at you.

Consumed with stupidity that you say is determination. you decide to be the Uberest Player of FFXI of all time!! You RMT 1,000,000,000,000 gil and buy Everything in the game.

You are PL'D to 75 , as well as all your sub jobs to 37. You stop to think,
    "Well im 75 now . . . . um . . . now what?"
An HNMLS is seeking, they recruit you. You go to your first camp, and wait 3 hours before the mob Pops purple on your screen. You repeat this every day for 6 months.

Soon, you come to the conclusion that you must cheat to win. You Join a dodgy website forum to download things people call bots that Help you claim. Your bot doesnt work as well as you hoped. You Tell your friends you are quiting. you troll the online forums of KI, BG and ALLA for 2 weeks, telling people they are noobs and you've seen it all, and that you were a legend on your server.
    They /laugh at you

Consumed with more stupidity , you return to the game. This time you're going to prove that you are at least one of the best players of all time.

Your Job has been nerfed since you were gone, and other jobs are /comforting you constantly.

You lvl another 75 job in 1/3rd the time, seek and hnmls, find one and go to camp an HNM.

It pops red, cuz the guys in your linkshell are l337 boters. You monopolise this HNM for 3 months, and get all the gear you ever needed. . . . . now what? you think hard, and wonder what to do now? Your original friends have long ago quit, and you find yourself alone, in a world fueled with greed and obsession. You decide to sell your character and return to rl.
You are now 100 pounds heavier than when you started, dumber, and broke. You see your ex girlfriend, you smile at her, she spits at you and calls you by your in game name. You never really noticed how hawt she was till now, and how pathetic your in game experiences were compared to what you were missing in real life. you think it over, and say fuck it, you visit IGE.COM and buy a lvl 75 blm, and manaburn your years away.

I'm a Light FFXI Player now: I've played so much that I'm starting to lose my will to play slowly /sigh. This might be my last month.

I've been missing too much by playing ffxi like crazy. I'm done. I'm deleting my character live. This is my last post. I think few sick people beat me at the time I spent in ffxi. I had no life. I don't regret the time I spent in game since I had fun but it's over now.

I hope you guys will have a lot of fun once the next expantion arrives.
Also, I hope that the problems with prices won't last forever.
Happy ffxi life guys. /goodbye (^.^)V

My next Online RPG will be Phantasy Star Universe.
