FFXI-speak is invading my RL

It's becoming harder and harder to hide my inner geek. For months I have told my GF that I "rarely" play anymore and that the reason I can't see her as often is that I took up some extra classes. :wink: Unfortunately she totally caught me when I said "True Strike" instead of "true that" in response to something she said.

I also said "impossible to guage", "for the win" and "woottaru" in the same week to my buddies. I need to see the sun more often.

I'm not worried about that. I already devote a lot of time to her. I sometimes go the whole weekend with no FFXI cuz I'm spending time with her. But she still gets jealous of it. Believe me, it's much easier to tell her that I "dropped the other woman" than tell her the truth.

I'm a pretty big nerd so I use all the in game terms IRL. All my friends play MMOs too so they know what I'm talking about when one of them does something stupid as hell and I tell them to drop their current build and go stack some INT gear.
