Ridill 100% drop?

I don't want to read this. After about 130-140 Fafnir kills we've gotten a grand total of 4 ridills. To us it's a myth.

I think they did raise the drop rate a little to get people out of the Aery who are just there for Ridills..for example: Lakshmi has seen 15 Ridills drop since mid September, some in streaks. There was a period of 2 weeks where 6 dropped, all around our claims >_<

They have more N.Legs than Hrotti's lol. Poor SF

We've only gotten one Hrotti, ever and the person left the ls a month later... We have more Ridills than Hrottis atm. LOL. That only being 1 Hrotti and 2 Ridills... Then again, we don't hardcore camp Fafnir... Only really when it's in NA time and not conflicting with other events. I think we've only killed it may be a total of 10 times... or a bit more.

Reporting from Garuda, Ridill seems to have become a recent common drop as of late..

Our server is at least 8-9 ridills in the last month. A couple of them in a row, or only a day between. I wish I'd seen this post sooner, but it's hidden away in Big Kills. I am amazed to hear that other servers have gotten the same 'streak of luck.'

out of curiosity, given that i have never found any testimonials to its effect... how much does Andravanauts help Gilfinder?

i've wondered about this since seeing it in the bradyguide i picked up at ps2 launch XD

how much does Andravanauts help Gilfinder?

Not enough to be worth using unless you're killing mobs that have a high gil drop to begin with... not that that's really any worthwhile source of money even with Gilfinder. With the gloves and AF2 legs I think it was a little noticeable, but still it's not gonna compare with a lot of other things you can do instead.

I don't know how much it helps with NMs though so can't help you there.

Ya, on Asura my LS has killed Fafnir prolly 120+ times and the last 2 kills were back to back, both times Ridill droped :O
